A 640380 Vacuum Cover Plate is a replacement/block-off plate used when removing or bypassing the engine-driven vacuum pump on certain aircraft engines. It covers the vacuum pump drive pad on Continental and some Lycoming applications, sealing the opening left behind and keeping contaminants out of the accessory case.
