This clamp can be easily tightened by  hand making it a FAA temporary compliant mounting device. The thumb  screw hex drive head allows you to tighten with the included hex wrench  too. The aluminum centering nut allows quick attachment to any tie down  ring with up to a 1 inch diameter hole. The centering nut has a grooved  outer edge allowing a perfect fit on most standard aircraft such as  Cessna, Piper, and Beech tie-down rings. This tie down ring base is  compatible with all Rock Steady mounts.
